Privacy Policy

Effective April 17, 2026

The short version

StateShift does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on our servers. We don't have servers that hold your data. Everything you enter into the app — your check-ins, shifts, reflections, and settings — stays on your device.

You do not create an account. We do not know who you are. We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting that identifies individuals, or any third-party tracking.

What stays on your device

The following information is stored locally on your phone using iOS's on-device storage (AsyncStorage):

This information never leaves your phone. If you delete the app, it is removed along with the app. You can also reset all your data at any time from Settings.

Information we never collect

Third parties

StateShift does not share any data with third parties because StateShift does not receive any data in the first place.

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store, which has its own privacy practices governed by Apple. If you contact us for support via email, your email will reach our inbox hosted by our email provider; we use that only to respond to your message.

Children

StateShift is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the effective date above and note what changed at the top of this page. If we ever add any data collection or third-party integrations, we will update this policy before those changes ship.
