Common questions

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything stays on your device. We don't have a server that holds your check-ins or shifts. See our privacy policy for the full breakdown.

Can I use StateShift without an account?

That's the only way to use it. There are no accounts.

Will my data sync across devices?

Not currently. Because everything lives on your phone, it doesn't move to another device. We may add optional iCloud sync later, but it would be off by default and fully on-device encrypted.

I want to delete everything. How?

Open Settings inside the app and tap Reset all data. Deleting the app from your phone also removes all stored data.

Is this therapy?

No. StateShift is a self-regulation tool — not a replacement for therapy, medication, or professional mental health care. If you're in crisis, please contact a crisis line in your country. In the US, you can dial or text 988.
